Independent Medical Examinations
An independent examination may be requested by insurers or lawyers to examine an individual’s psychological condition following an injury. The goal of an independent examination is to answer specific questions such as understanding the nature of the injury, the presence and severity of psychological symptoms, functional abilities, prognosis, contributing factors, and recommendations.
We are able to provide an objective and comprehensive evaluation within the area of clinical psychology.

South Shore Psychology is an approved provider for the WSIB Mental Health Program of Care (MHPOC). We are able to provide psychological assessment and treatment through this program.
